The Praxis Seminar — Research Colloquium in Practical Philosophy is the central research seminar of the Practical Philosophy Research Group. It features lectures and presentations by distinguished national and international scholars, invited to share their latest work. The seminar is designed as a forum for in-depth philosophical discussion, offering a cross-cutting perspective on a wide range of topics, and fostering an enriching environment for academic exchange.

Meetings take place every Tuesday during the academic year, structured as a 45-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session of the same duration.

After each session, there is usually a dinner with the guest speaker. Everyone is welcome to join this more informal discussion.

When: Tuesdays, 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

Where: Sala Mattos Romão (Room C201.J), Department of Philosophy, School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon.

Attendance is free and open to the public
