I am PhD student (FCT Grant Holder) at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon (CFUL). My project focuses on the intersection between power and time in the philosophy of Michel Foucault. I obtained my BA at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna with a final dissertation on Biopolitcs (2015). I then obtained a double MA degree in Philosophy at Leiden University (NL). I ended my first specialization in PPE – Philosophy, Politics and Economics – with a final thesis on Populism and Wittgenstein (Between Indefinability and Usage, 2022). I then continued my research by exploring the role of humour and satire as a political factor within populist movement, by comparing carnivalesque culture (Rabelais, Bakhtin) and grotesque humour with populism. In my second specialization in Philosophical Anthropology, I treated the body in terms of power and resistance as expressed by Foucault (The body: power and resistance, 2022).
