I am Assistant Professor at Laval University, QC, Canada, in the department of political science. I work primarily at the intersections of philosophy of emotion, moral psychology and feminist philosophy, on the nature and value of emotion for our moral and political lives. I also have research interests in philosophy of mind, epistemology and philosophy of psychology.

My work is often empirically informed in two distinct senses: I strive to take social reality seriously, and I engage with experimental work in the brain and behavioral sciences.

I completed my PhD in Philosophy on ‘The Rationality of Anger’ at University College London in 2019. Before this I completed an MA in Philosophy at King’s College London and a BSc in Neuroscience at University College London.

Before taking up my position at Laval University I was Banting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre de Recherche en Éthique, associated with the University of Montreal and McGill University, Leverhulme Postdoctoral Fellow at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences, University of Geneva, with the Thumos Research Group, and ERC Postdoctoral Fellow with Bence Nanay’s group at the Center for Philosophical Psychology, University of Antwerp.
