Eugenio Pacheco Magallanes
Research Group: HPhil
Eugenio Pacheco Magallanes is a PhD candidate in Architecture (Theory and History) and a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Lisbon. He holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon and has previous training in Theology. He is a doctoral researcher at CIAUD – Research Centre for Architecture, Urbanism and Design (University of Lisbon), where he is affiliated with the AdaptLab Research Group. He is also a member of the History of Philosophy Research Group (HPhil) at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon (CFUL) and serves as Graduate Student Representative of the Philosophy of the City Research Group (USA). His research lies at the intersection of architectural theory, phenomenology, and affect theory, with a particular focus on atmosphere and the sensory experience of space.
