I obtained my Ph.D. at the University of Trieste in 2018 with a dissertation on the relationships between philosophy and translation in contemporary thought, especially in the work of Martin Heidegger and Jacques Derrida. I previously studied philosophy in Bologna, Berlin, Roma, Jena (double degree Deutscher Idealismus und moderne europäische Philosophie) with a focus on Hegel’s Logic. During my Ph.D. I have been visiting student at the ‘Chaire sur l’Alterité’ of the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme in Paris (Chairholder: François Jullien). I undertook the task of the translator of Alsberg’s, Jullien’s, and Welsch’s works and I am member of the Translation Team of Hegel Art Net – International Research Network on Hegel’s Philosophy of Art (edition and translation of Hegel’s Aesthetic Courses 1820/21, 1823, 1826, 1828/29). My research focuses on philosophy of translation, German classical philosophy, and contemporary philosophy, especially aesthetics and ontology. I welcome M.A. and Ph.D. students working on these topics.
