Dinis Tomás is a Masters’ student of Philosophy at FLUL. He received his bachelor’s degree at that same institution, with a dissertation concerning the relation of Practical Virtue with the Happy Life of Study in Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics (2020).
Currently, he is working on his master’s thesis, under a scholarship provided by CFUL, translating and commenting the “Metaphysics” of Theophrastus.
He is also a member of the NEN (Núcleo de Estudos de Neoplatonismo), with which he is working on a full translation of Ennead II, 2 of Plotinus.
His main areas of interest are Ancient Philosophy, the Peripatetic tradition and Greek and Roman Practical Philosophies.
