Inês Beatriz Ferreira is a PhD student in Philosophy at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, the same institution where she obtained, in 2022, her Bachelor’s degree and, in 2025, her Master’s degree, with a final dissertation devoted to Kant’s proposals for education. The same year, she was awarded a FCT scholarship with a Doctoral project concerning Rousseau’s Émile ou de l’éducation. Her goal with this project is to translate Émile and study the relationship between education and politics in Rousseau’s thought.

Inês’s main interest areas include modern philosophy (especially Rousseau and Kant), philosophy of education and political philosophy. She is also interested in literature.
