Rui Filipe (email: ruifilipe63@hotmail.com) is a student member at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon. He finished his first degree in Philosophy in this institution (at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon) in 2014 with a thesis concerning Fichte’s Idealism. His master’s degree, at the same institution, was awarded in 2017 with a final dissertation that sought to understand the philosophical foundations of the Anarchist critique of the State made by Bakunin. Currently his PhD dissertation focuses mainly on Marx’s thought, namely, on his concept of Commodity Fetishism and how it comprehends a strong bond between ontology and epistemology.

He was also a member of the now extinct Nucleus of Political Studies of the University of Lisbon.
