Francesca Scapinello

Francesca Scapinello (they/them) is a PhD candidate at the University of Lisbon. They obtained their BA from the University of Turin (2021) with a dissertation on L. Wittgenstein’s Tractatus and their MA from the University of Bergen (2023), with a focus on I. Murdoch and Ordinary Language Philosophy. Francesca’s philosophical interests are philosophy of language, specifically the works that follow S. Cavell’s reading of Wittgenstein’s Investigations; feminist philosophies, both in their analytic and post-structuralist currents; the Wartime Quartet and history of philosophy methodologies; the relation between moral philosophy and literature.
