Active participation in 6 seminars (3 per semester,
3h/week each) chosen according to the student’s interest on the basis of
the available offer, and 2 English courses during first and second semester,
which can be exchanged for optional seminars on the basis of the available offer.
Year 2 of the LILIPHIL Master, in Lille, is divided into two parts:
Active participation in 5 seminars (divided by the 2
semesters, 2h/week each) chosen according to the student’s interests on
the basis of the available offer; conception and writing under the co-direction
of two supervisors, one for each University, of a thesis (75 pages minimum)
defended in English at the end of the year before a French-Portuguese jury, at
the University of Lille or at the University of Lisbon, or by videoconference.
Throughout the
Master Programme, in Lisbon and in Lille, students will have access to library
and sports facilities of the host Universities.
Evaluation
Evaluation of
semesters one and two is carried out at the University of Lisbon; evaluation of
semesters three and four is carried out at the University of Lille.
Thesis
The subject of the
master's thesis is chosen by the student in agreement with the two supervisors
concerned. The thesis work is part of the research training and requires a
significant personal investment as well as regular exchanges with the thesis
supervisors.
Language
Training (Other than in English)
Students will be
also able to benefit in each of the two Universities, on an optional basis,
