{"id":1194,"date":"2019-02-19T17:16:00","date_gmt":"2019-02-19T17:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cful.letras.ulisboa.pt\/praxis\/?p=1194"},"modified":"2019-02-19T18:00:30","modified_gmt":"2019-02-19T18:00:30","slug":"new-issue-of-phainomenon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cful.letras.ulisboa.pt\/praxis\/new-issue-of-phainomenon\/","title":{"rendered":"New Issue of Phainomenon!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest issue of <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/phainomenon-journal.pt\/index.php\/phainomenon\/index\">Phainomenon<\/a><\/span> is now available (entirely in Open Access)!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This issue on <em><strong>Philosophy and Psychopathology: phenomenological perspectives<\/strong><\/em> was organized by <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/cful.letras.ulisboa.pt\/people\/elisabeta-basso\/\">Elisabeta Basso<\/a><\/span> and gathers several contributions resulting from a conference on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From the Editor&#8217;s Introduction:<\/p>\n<p data-canvas-width=\"425.4999999999998\">\u00abOver the last twenty years, we have been witnessing in the international context the emergence of what is presented as a \u201cnew research domain\u201d within the philosophical field, the so &#8211; called \u201cphilosophy of psychiatry\u201d. In order to define this new domain, the Anglo &#8211; American authors, in particular, go back to Karl Jaspers\u2019 Allgemeine Psychopathologie and his attempt, at the beginning of the 20th century, to refound psychopathology on the basis of the phenomenological method. Indeed, according to this view, \u201cphilosophy of psychiatry\u201d would come to exist together with an appeal to phenomenology, in order to provide psychiatry with a systematic method for investigating the psychopathological phenomena.
