In the summer of 2025, the Practical Philosophy Research Group of the Centre of Philosophy at the University of Lisbon (Praxis-CFUL) launched the annual Lisbon Praxis Summer School (LPSS)<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> focusing on a topic of current and ongoing relevance for practical and critical philosophy, broadly construed.<\/p>\n

Each year, during the second week of July, the LPSS<\/em><\/strong> brings together young researchers, graduate students, and senior scholars to discuss new perspectives and foundational texts related to the selected topics. The themes will be addressed in keynote lectures, text-based advanced seminars, and plenary sessions. A public round-table discussion featuring the keynote speakers from the Summer School consolidates the themes explored during the week-long interaction and extends the debate to a broader audience.<\/p>\n
