MARIBEL MENDES SOBREIRA, architect, has a post-graduation in Urban Heritage at Nova University of Lisbon. Finished a master degree in Philosophy with a dissertation about “Architecture and Philosophy” at the University of Lisbon, Phd student at University of Lisbon. Is a cultural mediator both at the Cultural Center of Belém and at Berardo Collection (Lisbon). Is a member of the International Society for the Philosophy of Architecture and of the Center of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon, having collaborated in the research project “Philosophy and Architecture of Landscape”. Research topics include urbanism and quality of life, the relation between architecture and philosophy, and aesthetic and philosophy of art.
