Elisabetta Basso holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Paris-1 Sorbonne, and Università Ca’ Foscari, Venice. She is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centro de Filosofia of the University of Lisbon, and an associate member of the UMS 3610 CAPHES (Centre d’Archives de Philosophie, d’Histoire et d’Édition des Sciences, CNRS-École Normale Supérieure, Paris). Former A. v. Humboldt postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Philosophy of the Technische Universität, Berlin, currently she is an associate member of the IZW (Innovationszentrum Wissensforschung), TU Berlin. Her research interests include philosophy and history of the human sciences; French contemporary philosophy; philosophical anthropology; philosophy and history of psychiatry (especially the phenomenological tradition). She is a member of the editorial board of Michel Foucault’s unpublished lectures, 1952-1970 (Paris: Seuil-Gallimard), and she is currently working on the edition of M.
