Ana Rita Ferreira currently works as guest lecturer at the University of Oslo (UiO) and as higher executive officer at DSS – Norwegian Government Security and Service Organization. She received her PhD in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art from the University of Lisbon (2012) with a thesis on Saint Augustine’s aesthetics; she holds a master degree in Curatorial Studies (2006) and a licentiate degree in Painting (2003) by the Faculty of Fine-Arts of the University of Lisbon. Ana Rita Ferreira is a collaborating member of CFUL – Centro de Filosofia da Universidade de Lisboa and an integrated member of NUPPE – Research Group of the Institute of Arts of the Federal University of Uberlândia (IARTE/ UFU – Brazil), committed to the academic research within the fields of visual arts, art history and art education. Currently, she is the Editor of Philosophica journal and member of the Editorial Committee of the online journal philosophy@LISBON. She is also a founding member of the publishing house Vagamundo (www.vagamundo.fr).
